Sights

Aegina has important historical and cultural attractions that are worth visiting during your stay on the island.

One of the most important monuments is the Ancient Temple of Aphaia, one of the best preserved ancient temples in Greece and an important part of the so-called "sacred triangle" along with the Parthenon and the Temple of Poseidon in Sounio.

Also particularly famous is the Monastery of Saint Nektarios, one of the largest monasteries in the Balkans and an important place of pilgrimage for visitors from all over the world.

How to Get There

Aegina is located approximately 16 nautical miles from the port of Piraeus and access to the island is easy and fast.

There are frequent daily ferry and speedboat connections from Piraeus to Aegina, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the ship.

After arriving at the port of Aegina, Stefanie Studios is located approximately 3.5 kilometers away, in the seaside village of Vrochia, on the coastal road.

Traveling to the accommodation can be easily done by car, taxi or local transport, while the route offers beautiful views of the sea and the coastal side of the island.
